World Math Day

World Math Day is very fun, exciting, and addictive! You go on google and look up

World Math.com. You need a password and a user name to login. They give you a character and this is mine. I changed the hair and took away the glasses and the flower on her hair. It doesn’t take a long time to change your avatar. An avatar is a cartoon character of yourself on your computer (home and school). Allie and I have gotten onto the same game. Sometimes Allie wins and sometimes I win. Four people compete in each game. Sometimes there are less people. They give you addition problems (plus problems) to solve. If you get it correct, you get checks. If you get it wrong, you can hear a beep. At the end of the game, they tell you first, second, third, and fourth place winners, and they tell you how many points you got correct. We are practicing for the official World Math Day in March. All grades at school are practicing to try to win the game. Ask your kid to show you how the game works. I hope you enjoy this website.

From your reporter,

Victoria
