How 4th Grade Works in SBS

We have some routines in the 4th Grade. In the morning we greet our teacher, hand in our homework, read the morning message, work on Lexia or Symphony, and on Fridays we clean out our desks. In the afternoon, we get our backpacks and coats, get our trappers, copy our homework into our planner, pack our homework in our backpacks, and wait at our desks for our names to be called.

Besides our routines, we look at the schedule so we know what we are doing each day. Some cool things about 4th grade are:

  • We have a “Wall of Fame” that is getting big. The Wall of Fame shows work where we tried our best. You might not have succeeded, but you gave it your all.
  • We have ten pet caterpillars named Buttercup, Dunkin, Sandy, Barbie, Joe, DJ, Bob, Billy, Sponge Bob, and Patrick. We all named two caterpillars. Guess who named each of them! We will tell you on the next blog if you guessed right about the names. We are watching them grow into beautiful butterflies. The caterpillars form a chrysalis, which is like a cocoon. They are warming up and turning into a butterfly.

We are going to write another article every Friday. Please post comments on our blog.

Thank you! Victoria and Allie
