At the beginning of school we assembled a time capsule in our classroom. We put a survey of our favorite things like food and tv shows and more. We also drew a picture of ourselves. A string measured how tall we were at the beginning of the year. Mr. Patys (Allie’s dad) made the actual time capsule container for us.
Dallas, Alex, Allie and Victoria asked Mrs . Lawless if we could bury the time capsule. It was September 26th when Ms. Lawless asked maintenance for a shovel and now we got to use it! We dug in the sand, but not at the beach. The sand was next to a big tree stump on the side of the school next to Mr. Rodin’s office. He may have heard someone singing, “Evacuate the Dance Floor” while we were digging. We sang other songs too like, “I Like to Move it Move it”. We all took a turn digging and padding the sand down. We put a rock over the spot that said, “please do not move,” so we don’t need to dig all over the school to find our time capsule when we graduate from 4th Grade. We happily danced back to our classroom at 10:45.
